FreeOnes Site Updates - Week 27 & 28

MAJOR Planned Updates/Fixes

• Adding a brand new, non-porn site clone of FO that is celebrity oriented so developers who do not wish to work on porn can produce things for FreeOnes (yes, this is a constant issue)
  • update: we have it up and running privately. We now need to import the celebrities from FreeOnes and the content then go through it to find the nudies and porn that was miscategorized and ended up on the PG site.
• Auto add a channel for porn sites that have enough content
• Exempting certain domains from the dead link checker so its more efficient and sites don't block freeones traffic
• Testing dead link checker
• Make parallel testing possible
• Implement night tests of the site

Minor Planned Updates/Fixes

• Reporting photos, videos, gifs now shows up to site admins
• Fixing the review image cropper so we can add better images to
• Getting a piece of content to not show on a user's "new content from favorite babes" more than 1x
• Time stamp + username tracking for when someone adds or edits a babe avatar in the FreeOnes admin
• Fix email that is sent from FreeOnes when user upgrades or creates silver account
• Add statistics to the FreeOnes admin
• Fixing reviews so the latest review is the only one active (will deal with past reviews in the upcoming weeks)
• If a site has to be put on backup or inactive, it's corrasponding channel should go offline for users
• Download photo button (a placeholder that does nothing) should not be visible
• meta data updates to the review pages
• taking away the current paysite review landing page and instead go to the "search" page directly like all other sections
• add quick filters to the top of the review home page https://www.freeones.com/reviews/explore
• fix the category ads that are supposed to show up in the home page sidebar
• "see all" photos, videos, etc missing from home page on mobile
• images broke in the search drop down
• edge cases of links breaking due to the name linking feature fixed
• put rating back on review thumbs
• fixed contrast of visited links on light colored themes
• social media icons on light themes have more contrast
• additional info on babe bios is now left aligned
• footer looks bad on mobile
• fixing the fact that logged in users have to enter their username/email to report links, photos, videos and gifs
• graph data on babe profiles hard to read on certain themes

Updates/Fixes in the Upcoming Weeks

• Starting on work to make it possible to suggest cast, categories or tags to photos/videos/links
• Creating stopword database for comments
• Babe suggestion improvements (suggesting alias, official site, social media, etc)

Just a few things to add to this...

We have found some new developers to help us out. We're currently onboarding one of them, he will be helping us with getting the frontend straightened out. Then next week we'll be onboarding a backend dev. If all works out, we should be able to start working on new things like...

- credits
- bringing back the paid myFO galleries
- a games section for sex games
- VR page
- etc

edit: looks like once you report one link, future reports are automatically filled. So e.g. if I filed the first as broken link, all subsequent ones don't give me the options list, they just say thanks for reporting.

Noted. Unfortunately, I need my front end developer for this and he escaped on holiday.

What a rascal. TBF, it looks like it might only auto-repeat the bug reason for the same domain, which kinda makes sense.

IDK if there have been any changes recently but now it seems like anytime I click to flag a broken link, my only options are:
add to collection
model name
category
copy to clipboard,

i.e. report is missing.
Also of lesser importance: when I click on "forums" on the left, initially it takes me to a basically blank page saying I'm logged in. Then if I go back and try again, it works normally.

are you not seeing the thumbs up/down? if not, do you have an ad blocker running by chance?

It's weird, sometimes not all the dropdown options are present but then appear if I refresh. I'll do more testing.

I do have AdBlockPlus running... weird that the effect comes & goes despite my never turning ABP off though...
